How can I cancel my subscription?

Unfortunately, subscriptions can only be cancelled via the respective store through which they were acquired. To do so, open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone. Click on your avatar in the respective store to open your Apple or Google profile. In your profile, you will find the option to cancel your subscriptions under "Subscriptions" or "Payments and subscriptions".

Background

As a developer, we unfortunately have no way to cancel or refund subscriptions. Why? App Store policies do not allow us to sell directly to users. All sales to private end users must be made through Google or Apple and their app stores. This means that the sales contract is concluded between the end customer and Apple or Google as the seller; Aumio, as the manufacturer, is not a contractual partner. We only provide Apple or Google with the licences, which they in turn sell to the users. Cancellations, revocations and refunds must therefore be processed directly via the stores. Unfortunately, for tax reasons, our hands are tied at this point.

Nevertheless, we would very much like to learn more about why Aumio was not convincing and what we can improve in the future. Would it be open for a quick feedback call?
