I accidentally purchased my Aumio subscription (multiple times), what can I do?

Unfortunately, subscriptions can only be cancelled via the respective store through which they were acquired. The Apple App Store and the Google Play Store are completely independent companies and we have neither insight nor access to customer data, contracts or accounting. 

 

Fortunately, you have a 7-day free trial with each of the subscriptions, which means you can simply cancel any of them now. To do so, open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone. Click on your avatar in the respective store to open your Apple or Google profile. In your profile you will find the option to cancel your subscriptions under "Subscriptions" or "Payments and subscriptions".

Background

As a developer, we unfortunately have no way to cancel or refund subscriptions. Why? The App Stores guidelines do not allow us to sell directly to users. All sales to private end users must go through Google or Apple and their app stores. This means that the sales contract is concluded between the end customer and Apple or Google as the seller; Aumio, as the manufacturer, is not a contractual partner. We only provide Apple or Google with the licences, which they in turn sell to the users. Cancellations, revocations and refunds must therefore be processed directly via the stores. Unfortunately, for tax reasons, our hands are tied at this point.

 

To activate the remaining subscription on additional devices afterwards, simply download the latest app version and, in the email sign-up page that is shown during the onboarding, simply enter the email address to which your subscription is linked on your first device. Confirm this again with the one-time password that will be sent to your email inbox, and you're done! The content will then be automatically unlocked on your other device.
