How do I transfer my subscription to another device (Android)?

We are happy to hear that you would like to use Aumio on a second device! That's no problem at all! To unlock your subscription on additional devices, here's what you can do:

Make sure the Aumio app is installed on the new device. Then open the Aumio app on the existing device with an active subscription. In the settings, go to "Subscription" and then to "Transfer subscription". Here you will find a QR code. Scan this code on the new device to which you want to transfer your subscription. You can either do this directly with the camera app or, if it does not support QR codes, with a QR scanner app from your App Store (e.g. "QR Scanner" from Kaspersky). That's it, you can continue your journey on your new device!

IMPORTANT: In order for the transfer to work smoothly, it is important that both app versions match and are at best up to date. You can see the app version in the settings under "App information".

Sometimes, only a web page with an error opens on Android devices after scanning the QR code and not the Aumio app, although the Aumio app is installed on the device. If this is the case, there is probably an incorrect setting in the Android settings. This can be permanently changed as follows: In the Android (not app) settings under "Settings" > "Apps" > "Aumio" > "Open by default" (if necessary, "Advanced" must be folded out) > select or activate "Open supported links with app" and, if necessary, make sure that all links are selected under "Add links". After scanning, the Aumio app should open directly and transfer your account.

If there are any problems, we are of course always available to assist you with the transfer of your subscription. :)
